EXPLICIT CONSENT TEXT

This Explicit Consent Text is presented separately from the KVKK Information Notice. Granting explicit consent for the processing activities specified below is not mandatory. However, if you grant explicit consent, you may be able to benefit from certain AI-supported, recommendation-based, visibility-enhancing, or internationally connected features of the relevant services. Failure to grant explicit consent shall not, by itself, prevent the provision of services that may otherwise be offered on the basis of another legal ground and without reliance on explicit consent.

I hereby acknowledge and declare that I give my explicit consent, based on prior information and through my free will, for the personal data processing activities specified below:

1. PROCESSING OF PUBLISHED AND UNPUBLISHED ACADEMIC CONTENT IN AI / LLM SYSTEMS

I hereby give my explicit consent to the processing, within artificial intelligence, generative artificial intelligence, and large language model systems, of my published or unpublished academic works, drafts, preprints, article texts, abstracts, titles, keywords, files, revision texts, application forms, metadata, author information, and institutional information that I upload to the Platform, create through the Platform, or that are otherwise processed within the scope of the Platform, including for the purposes of:

processing,
classification,
summarization,
association and linking,
use in recommendation systems,
content analysis,
evaluation for quality control and ethical risk detection,
display within on-platform academic presentation, search, discovery, and association systems.

2. PROCESSING OF UNPUBLISHED, UNDER-REVIEW, AND REVISION-STAGE CONTENT

I hereby give my explicit consent to the processing, for the purposes stated above, of my academic content that has not yet been published, is under review, is in draft form, is in preprint status, or is undergoing revision.

3. PROCESSING AND CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER THROUGH FOREIGN-RELATED AI, CLOUD, AND TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURES

Within the scope of the services I use, I hereby give my explicit consent to the transfer abroad and processing of my data, content, and academic works through artificial intelligence / LLM services such as Grok, Gemini, ChatGPT, and similar services, as well as through related technical infrastructures, APIs, hosting, cloud, or data processing systems.

4. PRESENTATION OF ACADEMIC CONTENT WITHIN THE ORCLEVER ECOSYSTEM

I hereby give my explicit consent to the display, classification, association, and presentation of my published or unpublished academic content, titles, abstracts, metadata, authorship information, institutional information, and related derived structured data:

on Orclever platforms,
in AI-supported modules,
in academic recommendation and discovery areas,
in association, classification, and visibility systems.

5. MY DECLARATION REGARDING THIRD-PARTY DATA

If the content I upload to the Platform contains data relating to co-authors, research participants, students, clients, institutional representatives, or other third parties, I declare that I have provided the necessary notices, that I have the necessary legal grounds, and that I have obtained the required explicit consents where necessary in relation to such data.

6. WITHDRAWAL OF EXPLICIT CONSENT

I understand that I may withdraw my explicit consent at any time. The withdrawal of explicit consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing activities carried out on the basis of explicit consent before the date of withdrawal. However, after the withdrawal of explicit consent, the continuation of the relevant data processing activity shall only be possible if another legal ground for processing exists.

7. STATEMENT OF ACCEPTANCE

I acknowledge that I have read the KVKK Information Notice, that I understand the scope and consequences of the data processing activities specified above, and that I give my explicit consent for specific matters, based on prior information, and through my free will.
