R&D Awards

Why the awards exist

Most R&D work never leaves the company that paid for it. It closes as a year-end report and stays there. The RDCONF R&D and Innovation Awards put that work in front of a jury and a room of people doing the same job — companies, R&D centres and design centres in Türkiye working in design, manufacturing and software. Projects are assessed against the criteria applied to conference papers.

Who can enter

Companies, R&D centres and design centres in Türkiye working in design, manufacturing or software. There is no limit on how many projects one organisation may enter. Each project is entered as a paper and competes in up to two categories.

How to enter

• Write the project up in the official RDCONF paper format.
• Upload it through the Orclever submission system by 23 November 2026.
• Register for the congress and choose the categories you want to compete in.
• Present the accepted paper in person on 3–4 December 2026. Oral presentation is required; a paper that is not presented is not published.

How entries are scored

• Originality and contribution — 20%
• Innovation — 20%
• National impact and wider benefit — 20%
• Methodology — 15%
• Employment and career development — 15%
• Scientific collaboration — 10%

Three projects are recognised in each category, and the jury presents one Special Award. Decisions rest on the jury's assessment — not on registration fees, and not on how many entries a category receives.

What winning gives you

A named, dated recognition — the kind an R&D manager can show a head office, a client or a recruitment page. Awards are presented during the congress, in front of the delegates.
