Call for Papers

A paper should outlive the room it is presented in. Work sent to RDCONF becomes a permanent record once it clears peer review. There are three publication routes, and the participant type you choose at registration decides which one you enter.

  • ISBN abstract book — for abstract submissions.
  • OPRD — full paper, assigned a DOI, indexed in Google Scholar.
  • EJRND — the European Journal of Research and Development, an internationally indexed journal.

Review is single-blind, with at least two referees on every paper. The registration fee is not a guarantee of publication. A paper that does not pass peer review is not published.

Registration categories cover academics and students as well as company employees and firms attending with a stand.

Submit early. Review does not wait for the deadline: papers go to referees as they arrive and decisions come back in the same order. The deadline sits late in the year to fit the working calendar of R&D centres — authors who submit early get their decision earlier and leave themselves room to revise.

Format and Timeline

  • Original work, not published elsewhere
  • Turkish or English
  • Full paper of 6–12 pages, similarity below 25 percent
  • Submission only through the Orclever system
  • Upload format is Word (.docx) — the system does not accept PDF, because an accepted paper goes to typesetting and has to remain editable. Templates are below.

Abstracts and full papers are due 23 November 2026. The programme is announced on 28 November, and the congress takes place in Istanbul on 3–4 December 2026. On the journal route, articles are due 31 December 2026 for the 2026 issue and 31 January 2027 for the 2027 issue; both routes require an abstract submission as well.

An accepted paper must be presented orally at the congress in order to be published. Work that is not presented does not reach publication.

Paper Templates

Write your work into one of the templates below. Page layout, headings and reference style are already defined in the file, so there is no separate formatting guide to read.
